It’s not about twisting into a pretzel. It’s about moving with care, breathing deeply, and giving your body a chance to talk, instead of your bossy mind telling it what to do all the time 🙂

As we grow older, our bodies need different things. Flexibility, balance, and strength are essential—but so is ease. If getting up and down from the floor is difficult, chair yoga offers the same benefits with all the support your body needs. Gentle yoga focuses on:

  • Enhancing balance to prevent falls

One of our long-time clients, once joked that she came to yoga “just to touch her toes again.” After a few weeks, not only was she reaching her toes, but she also noticed she could garden longer without getting sore and was sleeping better at night.

Her favorite pose? Legs-up-the-wall what she calls her “instant nap” move.
